Currently, in connection with the use of rotary excavators, the domestic mining industry has approached the development of conveyor installations with a capacity of up to 12,000 m/h of loose open rocks or 8600 m/h in a dense body, as well as for the transportation of rock and ore with a capacity of up to 3000 T/hour. Conveyor transport was widespread on coal and ore quarries of the GDR, Czechoslovakia, PNR, Federal Republic, USA and other foreign countries. In the GDR, in particular, it is planned to bring the volume of transportation by conveyor transport in 1970. up to 19% instead of 1% in 1960. The maximum performance of foreign conveyor installations, achieved to date, is 15,000 m/h, in the future it should increase to 25,000 m3/h.
